Membership
Membership is open to all Residents’ Councils who have subscribed to the constitution and objectives of OARC. Homes are encouraged to contact us and request assistance in understanding the benefits of membership, or to request an individual to speak at a Residents’ Council meeting, so that residents can be an active part of the decision to join the provincial Association.
Benefits of membership include having access to information contained in the multiple copies of the newsletters, “Seasons”, sent to members several times a year. These detail activities of the Association and of other Residents Councils, news of current and proposed legislation and standards changes, cheerful anecdotes, and always a bit of humour to share. Residents’ Councils who contribute to the work of the Association are proud to be part of an active Association which has a positive impact on their lives.
Our current fee structure is:

100 - 199 beds $100.00
200 + beds $150.00
