Governance
OARC is managed by a Board of Directors, all of whom are residents elected by our member homes across Ontario. Their term of office is 3 years
The Directors elect an Executive from amongst themselves to direct the activities of the association between Board meetings.
MEET THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF OARC
Following our Constitution and By-Laws, all are residents of our member homes across Ontario. All have volunteered their time and talents to serve on the Board of the provincial association, as well as being active in the Residents’ Councils of their homes. We thank them on behalf of all our members for their generosity, and we thank as well their homes, and the staff who accompany some of them to our meetings. This year, we especially thank long-time Board member Ed Mondoux of Bethammi Home in Thunder Bay, who has retired. We currently have vacancies on our Board and welcome nominees.
At our Board ,meeting of 2006, we installed a new Board, and elected a new Executive, including our President, Maureen Hutchinson.
Since that time we have had some changes. The current roster of Board members for the 2006-2009 term of office is:
